The Cure story
When Jeff Jensen is non-fatally attacked by his wife, Marie, he assumes that Marie is suffering from tropical fever that affects the brain. Jeff arranges for his friend Mike and native manservant Luiz to take Marie to a shrink. Mike and Marie are having an affair and attempt to kill Luiz; Luiz kills Mike and follows Jeff's orders to the letter by sending Marie to a native "head doctor" who shrinks her head.
