A serial killer is on a rampage in a nearby city, decapitating women and taking their heads as trophies. Horror screenwriter Warhol Evans is labeled as the prime suspect when he is found washing his hands near the latest crime scene. He is interrogated by famed detective Jack Lynch who attempts to label him as the killer, but Evans doesn't go down without a fight, trying to turn the interrogation around.
