Leela's Homeworld story
"Leela's Homeworld" is the second episode in the fourth production season of the American animated television series Futurama. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 17, 2002. "Leela's Homeworld" was written by Kristin Gore and directed by Mark Ervin. The episode reveals Leela's true origin as a mutant who was abandoned by her parents so she could have a better life.
