This category of themes, so common in fiction, is further subdivided into: "human life choice" (a character struggles with a decision regarding how to live their life), "human self-sacrifice" (a character must choose or not to risk themselfs for the sake of another), "personal ethical dilemma" (a struggle with morals), and "personal practical dilemma " (the choice is hard more because of uncertainty than for moral or personal considerations).
