There is a character who notably fails to take responsibility for their own future and wellbeing. They may, for example, prefer partying to studying, or blame everyone else for their own shortcomings.

In tz2002-1x22 "Gabe's Story", a point of the story was that Gabe needed to shape up and take charge of his life. He must also take responsibility for it and stop blaming everyone else for his misfortunes.
